Mumbai: TV actress Shilpa Shinde, who became a household name with serial ' Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai', has filed an FIR against the producer of the show, Sanjay Kohli, for sexual harassment.

Speaking about the case, the actress told, "There were a lot of issues earlier and circumstances were created so that I could not speak out against this matter. I am telling this now because it has been one year but the memory is still fresh. The manner in which they behaved with me.. I have been sick for seven-eight months."

"The makers have turned CINTAA, Federation..everyone against me and when even that wasn't enough, they are trying to negotiate the matter outside the court. "

Shilpa also said that she found it difficult to even file the FIR as the policeman made her wait for a long time and finally filed it after three days.

This allegation comes a year after Shilpa quit the show after an ugly tussle with Benaifer, Sanjay's wife. The actor had accused the producer of mental torture.

In the said FIR, the actress has claimed that Kohli often tried to get intimate with her and called her hot and sexy, according to reports. The actress has even alleged that Kohli threatened her that he would throw her out of the show if she refused to get intimate with him. (ANI)
