Seven killed in road accident in Patna, Chief Minister expresses deep sorrow

At least seven people including three women and a child were killed in a collision between an auto rickshaw and a crane on Ramlakhan Path under Kankarbagh police station area on Tuesday. Read further on Dynamite News:

Patna: At least seven people including three women and a child were killed in a collision between an auto rickshaw and a crane on Ramlakhan Path under Kankarbagh police station area on Tuesday.

The deceased belonged to Rohtas, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, and Vaishali regions. Their identity was being ascertained.

According to police, the auto-rickshaw carrying passengers collided with the crane engaged in the construction work of Patna Metro. The collision was so powerful that the auto-rickshaw was blown into pieces. Four people died on the spot while three others succumbed during treatment.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the accident and prayed to the almighty to give courage to the kith of the deceased to bear the loss.
