Senior IAS Dr. Alok Srivastava sworn in as Member, NCLAT

Dr. Alok Srivastava, a 1984 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, who has held the post of Secretary in the Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Justice, Government of India, sworn in as a member of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Friday.



New Delhi: National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) Chairperson S.J. Mukhopadhaya administered the oath of office to senior IAS Alok Srivastava as a Member (Technical) of the Tribunal on Friday.

Dr. Alok Srivastava assuming charge after Oath

Srivastava was earlier posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Justice, Government of India. He was the first IAS officer of the country to become Law Secretary.

He was to retire in June 2020, but took voluntary retirement from the Indian Administrative Service and took charge of the Member in the Tribunal.
