Senior BJD leader and former MP Prasanna Acharya was seriously injured when his car met with an accident near Beladihi in Rairakhol late on Thursday night. Read further on Dynamite News:
Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and former MP Prasanna Acharya was seriously injured when his car met with an accident near Beladihi in Rairakhol late on Thursday night.
Acharya, also a former Odisha Finance Minister, was returning to Bargarh, his native place, from Bhubaneswar when the mishap took place.

Sources said his vehicle had a head-on collision with an oxygen-laden tanker, injuring the senior BJD leader critically. However, his driver and PSO sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Acharya was immediately shifted to the ICU of a private hospital in Sambalpur. His condition is stated to be stable, hospital sources said.
