Scientist beaten to death in Mohali over parking row
The scientist had undergone a kidney transplant and his sister had donated him one of her kidneys. He was on dialysis. After the attack, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Read further on Dynamite News:

Mohali: A scientist, who returned to India from Switerzerland recently and was working at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Mohali, was beaten to death over a parking dispute near his rented home in Punjab's Mohali.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, he was thrashed to death in the Sector 67.
The scientist has been identified as Abhishek Swarnkar. A quarell broke out between the 39-year-old scientist and his neighbour on Tuesday night, during which he was allegedly pushed by his neighbour to the ground. Subsequently, he was assaulted.
His sister donated him her Kidney

The assualt was caught on CCTV camera. The scientist was originally from Jharkhand's Dhanbad. Swarnkar was a noted scientist whose research papers was published in many international journals.
He returned to India from Switerzerland
Having previously worked in Switzerland, he had recently returned to India and taken up a job as a project scientist at IISER.
The scientist’s family has sought strict action against the accused.

The police said that a case has been registered under relevent sections of the laws and raids were being conducted to arrest the accused, identified as Monty, who is on the run.
