Sanjay Raut gets big relief after jail sentence in defamation case

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut was sentenced to 15 days in jail by a Mumbai court in a defamation case. But soon after got a big relief. Read further on Dynamite News:

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut was sentenced to 15 days in jail by a magistrate court in a defamation case. Shortly after the court pronounced the sentence, a relief news also came for Sanjay Raut.

Application filed for relief 
An application was filed in the magistrate court by Sanjay Raut's lawyer against the sentence. After this application, the court suspended Sanjay Raut's sentence for 30 days.

Sanjay Raut's lawyer has said that he has filed a bail plea and will appeal against the order of the Magistrate Court in the Mumbai Sessions Court.

The Magistrate Court pronounced its verdict on Thursday and convicted Raut in the defamation case filed by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya's wife Dr Medha Somaiya. Along with 15 days' imprisonment, Raut was also been fined Rs 25,000.
