Vrindawan, Uttar Pradesh: Saint Prem Anand Maharaj's customary night walk was abruptly cancelled on Thursday evening due to deteriorating health. Devotees, who had gathered on the streets in anticipation, broke down upon hearing the announcement via loudspeaker that the revered saint would not emerge for his nightly procession.

The scene repeated on Friday night as crowds again assembled along the walking route. Despite the scheduled time passing, the saint failed to appear. Shortly after, an ashram official announced through the PA system that Maharaj's health had taken a sudden turn, forcing another cancellation. A wave of despair swept through the devotees, with many overcome by visible distress.

Witnesses reported chaotic scenes as devotees - some weeping openly - prayed fervently for their spiritual leader's recovery. The emotional outpouring reflected the deep connection between the saint and his followers, many of whom had traveled long distances for a glimpse of the revered figure.

Tensions eased at dawn when Maharaj resumed his walk at 6 AM Saturday. The saint's appearance triggered jubilant scenes, with massive crowds surging forward for darshan. This dramatic turnaround provided a cathartic release for devotees after two nights of anxious waiting.
