Saif Ali Khan Attack Case: Suspect held at Durg Railway Station in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi: Railway Police Protection Force (RPF) on Saturday held a suspect at Durg railway station in Chhattisgarh in connection with the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

RPF received info from Mumbai Police
"We received a call from Mumbai Police that the suspect was travelling by Jnaneshwari Express. They requested us to  detain him. Later, we checked the train and detained him," Sanjeev Sinha, Traffic Inspector, RPF, said.

Mumbai Police to take suspect's custody  
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the suspect has been identified as Aakash Kailash Kannojia, 30. A Mumbai police team would be reaching soon to take the suspect into its custody.

Saif Ali Khan stabbed 
The 54-year-old was stabbed six times by the attacker. He was rushed to Lilavati Hopsital and underwent a surgery. Now, he is recovering well.
