RPF cop saves passenger from coming under train wheels

The incident took place on November 12 when Shraddha Sethu Express from Rameswaram to Faizabad was leaving from Chennai Egmore's platform.



Chennai: Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel's swift response saved a passenger's life who slipped while boarding a train at Egmore Railway station. In split second the agile cop pulled out the passenger from coming under wheels of the moving train.

The incident took place on November 12 when Shraddha Sethu Express from Rameswaram to Faizabad was leaving from Chennai Egmore's platform number 5 at 1 pm. It happened when the passenger tried to board the general compartment of the moving train and slipped.

However, when he was about to fall in between the train and the tracks, RPF constable Suman, who was on a patrol duty at the platform pulled him out safely. The man reportedly didn't suffer any injuries.
