New Delhi: Former South Africa batter AB de Villiers has asserted that India skipper Rohit Sharma has no reason to retire and he also believed that Rohit could go down in history of the game as one of the greatest ODI skippers of all time.
"Compared to other skippers, look at Rohit’s winning percentage as captain-it’s almost 74 percent, which is substantially more than any other captain of the past," de Villiers said on his YouTube channel.

Notably, some media reports during the ICC champions Trophy stated that Rohit Sharma could announce his retirement. However, he remained unfazed and led team to to historical win in the champions trophy.
