'Ridiculous': Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reacts to Ramesh Bidhuri's controversial 'cheeks' remarks

New Delhi: Congress Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday condemned BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri's remarks on her cheeks and called it 'ridiculous' and 'unnecessary'. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, she slammed the Kalkaji BJP candidate for his remarks while talking to reporters after attending a parliamentary panel meeting.

"It is a ridiculous remark. All this is irrelevant. He never spoke about his cheeks. All this is unnecessary. During the elections, we should talk about the important issues of the people of Delhi," Priyanka Gandhi told reporters.


Controversial Remarks
The former South Delhi MP had said he would make the roads of Kalkaji like the cheeks of Priyanka Gandhi if elected as an MLA.

Kalkaji Seat 
He was fielded by the BJP against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi while Congress chose Ex-Delhi MLA Alka Lamba. Bidhuri later expressed regret over his remarks. (With Agency Inputs)
