New Delhi: Retired IAS Sukhbir Singh Sandhu (UK:88) and Gyanesh Kumar (KL:88) are the frontrunners for the two posts of Election Commissioners.
According to reports, there was a list of 212 candidates for the two posts of Election Commissioners but finally six names were given to the Selection Committee for its consideration.

Retired IAS Sukhbir Singh Sandhu (UK:88) and Gyanesh Kumar (KL:88) are the top contenders for the post of two Election Commissioners among 212 candidates.
The meeting of the Selection Committee was held today under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The other two members present were Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
