Republic Day 2023: BrahMos, Akash Missile, Arjun; Cultural Diversity, Women Empowerment Seen On Kartavya Path

New Delhi: During the 74th Republic Day Parade 2023, the world saw the strength of India on the Kartavya Path in Delhi. Along with indigenous military prowess, diversity and cultural heritage of India are also visible in the parade. Cultural diversity was visible in the tableaux of the states.
Akash Missile
The Akash Missile System of the 27 Air Defense Missile Regiment was also displayed in the parade. The Akash Missile System was led by Captain Sunil Dashrath from Amritsar Airfield and Lieutenant Chetna Sharma of 512 Light AD Missile Regiment.
BrahMos
BrahMos contingent of 861 Missile Regiment participated in the parade on the line of duty, led by Lt Prajwal Kala.

Nag Missile
President Droupadi Murmu took the salute from Lieutenant Siddharth Tyagi, who commanded the Nag Missile System of the 17 Mechanized Infantry Regiment.
K9 Vajra
K9 Vajra missile was also displayed. Besisides, a contingent of 75 Armored Regiment's battle tank Arjun marched on Kartavya Path. It was led by Captain Amanjit Singh.

A Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle contingent led by Captain Naveen Dhatarwal of the Ladakh Scouts Regiment was also included in the parade.
Twenty-three tableaux — 17 from states and union territories and six from various ministries and departments — depiced the nation’s rich cultural heritage, economic progress and strong internal and external security.
