Ranji Trophy: Vaibhav Suryavanshi surpasses Tendulkar's record; Debuting in Ranji at youngest age

New Delhi: Ranji Trophy matches have begun in the country from Friday. 

Out of all the participating teams, Bihar Team is a centre of attraction because of one team member Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Vaibhav has debuted in the Ranji at the youngest age of less than 13 years, thus surpassing the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's record of maiden entry in the Ranji at the age of over 15 years. 

In this exclusive report of Dynamite News, here is a profile glimpse of this future cricket star Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's official age is currently said to be 12 years 284 days as on today when he has debuted in Ranji. While when Cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar had made his debut in Ranji, he was 15 years and 232 days. Thus Vaibhav becomes the youngest ever player to enter Ranji, breaking the record of Sachin. 

As Vaibhav comes from Samastipur in Bihar, he is a member of Bihar Ranji Team. 

Vaibhav is a left-handed opening batsman. He started playing cricket at the age of six and joined a cricket academy at seven, where he was trained by former Ranji player Manish Ojha.

Vaibhav had earlier represented the India Under-19 team in the Challenger Trophy competition organized by BCCI last year.

Earlier, he created abuzz in the whole cricket arena by grabbing three double centuries in the last season of Challenger Trophy.
