Rahul Gandhi speaks to father of Cong worker who died during protest in Lucknow

Gorakhpur: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday spoke to the father of 28-year-old Congress worker Prabhat Pandey who died during a protest in Lucknow.
Rahul offeres condolences
Rahul Gandhi offered condolences during his telephonic conversation with the father of the deceased.

Prabhat Pandey, a native of Gorakhpur, died during the party protest near the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow on Wednesday.
Rahul Gandhi said the Congress party stand the family.

“Whatever you need you can tell the party. We are with you,” Rahul told deceased’s father Deepak Pandey.
Rahul Gandhi also asked Prabhat's father how his son died.
"We had been trying to get in touch with him since 1 pm but he was not picking up the phone. After 5 PM someone picked up his phone and informed us that he was lying unconscious. Later, we were informed by the the hospital that he was died,” Deepak Pandey told Rahul Gandhi.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, Prabhat Pandey, a resident of Deipar village in Gorakhpur, was found lying unconscious in the Congress office in Lucknow on Wednesday.
Prabhat was taken to the hospital at around 5 pm, where doctors declared him dead.
