New Delhi: A cavalcade led by Congress leaders LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, heading towards riot-hit Sambhal, was stopped at the Ghazipur border on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

Barricades were placed across the road, bringing traffic to a standstill as the Congress leaders' convoy reached the border.

Notice under BNS 163
The Ghaziabad police handed over a notice to Rahul Gandhi. The notice stated that under BNS 163, prohibitory orders were in place, and they would not be allowed to proceed. 

Meanwhile, the security has been heightened at the border resulting in massive traffic snarl at the Ghazipur border on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
