Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of former Governor and Union Minister Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh.
New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of former Governor and Union Minister Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh.
Dr. Singh breathed his last yesterday in Fortis Hospital following a prolonged illness. Taking to his official Twitter handle, Rahul said that the demise of Bhishma has left a deep void in the Congress Party.

According to media reports, his cremation will take place on August 2 at Lodi Road crematorium.
Bhishma Narain Singh was the former governor of seven states including Tamil Nadu, Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh. He also held various portfolios during the Congress rule led by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. (ANI)
