Sandhya Stampede: Film producer Allu Aravind announces Rs 2 crore financial aid to stampede victim's kin

Hyderabad: Film producer Allu Arvind on Wednesday announced financial assistance to the family of the woman who died in a stampede during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ in Hyderabad on December 4.

Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind visited the child who was injured in Sandhya Theatre stampede.
Aravind announces Rs 2 crore compensation
“We had a conversation with the doctors and we are very happy to know that the boy is recovering. To support him and his family, we have decided to give an amount of Rs 2 crore. Rs one crore has been given by Allu Arjun and Rs 50 lakhs given by the producers and 50 lakhs by the director,” Allu Aravind told reporters.

“This amount is being handed over to Dil Raju, Chairman of Telangana Film Development Corporation,” he added.
Telugu film industry & CM
Dil Raju, who also visited the private hospital, said the members of Telugu film industry would meet Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy on Thursday at 10 am. Child named Sritej suffered injuries and became unconscious after the stampede occurred at Sandhya theatre on December 4 during the screening of the movie.
Earlier on Monday, Telugu actor Allu Arjun was questioned by Hyderabad Police for over three hours in connection with the death of a woman in the stampede.

Police summons Actor on Monday
