Punjab: Police busts narco-smuggling network in Tarn Taran; Two arrested

Tarn Taran: The Police busted a trans-border drug network here in Taran Taran and recovered 6 kg of heroine. Two smugglers were arrested.

Punjab Police DG Gaurav Yadav wrote on social media platform X about cracking  the trans-border drug smuggling network.

The post stated, "Acting swiftly on forward and backward linkages, Tarn Taran Police dismantles a trans-border narco-smuggling network and arrests two drug smugglers, Hardeep Singh Deep & Harjeet Singh, both residents of Thathi Sohal, TarnTaran and recovers 6 Kg of Heroin. Preliminary investigation reveals role of Pakistan-based smugglers who sent the contrabands."

The smugglers were identified as Hardeep Singh alias Deep and Harjeet Singh who are the residents of Thathi Sohal and have prior criminal records.
