Punjab: Four drug peddlers held in Amritsar; Four kg heroin seized

Chandigarh: The Punjab Police claimed on Sunday that it has arrested four drug peddlers with 4 kg of heroin, busting a narco-terror module. 

The nabbed accused include Navjot Singh, alias Sahil, Sukhwinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh and Aniket.  

A case has been registered under the NDPS Act with State Special Operations Cell (SSOC), Amritsar.

Police Chief Statement

Punjab Police Chief Gaurav Yadav said, "An FIR has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC), Amritsar.

Gaurav Yadav posted on X, “In an intelligence-led operation, Counter-Intelligence, Amritsar, busts a narco-terror module and apprehends four persons and recovers 4 kg of heroin from their possession.”
