Blog: Erdogan urges UN to recommend force if Israel continues attack

Turkish President Erdogan accused Israel of carrying out genocide in Gaza and Lebanon and warned that if Israel isn't stopped, its leadership would set its sights on Turkey. Read further on Dynamite News:

Ankara (Turkiye): Condemning Israel's ground operation in Lebanon, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has said that the United Nations General Assembly should recommend the use of force against Isreal, if it fails to stop Israel's attack in Gaza and Lebanon.

The UN General Assembly should recommend the use of force, according to a resolution it passed in 1950, if the UN Security Council fails to stop Israel's attack in Gaza and Lebanon, Erdogan said.

He also urged other international organistaion to stop Israel. 

"Whatever it does, Israel will be stopped sooner or later," Erdogan told the Turkish parliament on Tuesday.

Erdogan accused Israel of carrying out genocide in Gaza and Lebanon and warned that if Israel isn't stopped, its leadership would set its sights on Turkey.

Turkish President also compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Nazi Germany's Adolf Hitler. 

"Just as Hitler, who saw himself in a giant mirror, was stopped, Netanyahu will be stopped in the same way," Erdogan said.

Ground operation 
The Israeli army stated it launched a ground operation in Lebanon following airstrikes targeting Hezbollah commanders and leaders, escalating tensions in the region. (with Agency inputs)
