Gorakhpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday participated in the centenary celebrations of Gita Press in Gorakhpur. Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister to visit Gita Press.

Earlier the Prime Minister arrived at Gorakhpur airport where he was received by the state Governor Anandi Ben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath.

In Gita Press, PM Modi saw many ancient things including the first printing machine. He is also going to address the centenary celebrations here.

Further, Prime Minister flagged off two Vande Bharat Express trains from Gorakhpur railway station in a short while. At the same time, Modi lays the foundation stone of railway station remodeling project costing Rs 693 crore.
