PFC concludes 'Vigilance Awareness Week'; Vows to a corruption-free nation

New Delhi: India's leading public sector undertaking, Power Finance Corporation (PFC) concluded its celebrations of Vigilance Awareness Week which commenced on October 30 and lasted till November 5. 

Dignitaries at Vigilance Awareness Week

The celebrations included a series of innovative events and activities that upheld the spirit of integrity, transparency, and commitment to a corruption-free nation.

PFC Chairperson and Managing Director Parminder Chopra inaugurated the celebrations and administered the Integrity Pledge. While opening the Week, she reinforced the message of PFC’s commitment to integrity and transparency in the organizational context.

Several initiatives taken during the Week 

Simmi R Nakra, CVO; and Manoj Sharma, Director (Commercial) were also present on the occasion among other dignitaries, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

A talk on vigilance awareness by the Secretary, the Central Vigilance Commission was also organized as a prelude to Vigilance Awareness Week.

"Cyber Hygiene Manual of PFC" released

SS Rao, Chief General Manager, PFC told Dynamite News correspondent that during the celebrations, Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, as the Chief Guest, spoke on the topic "Say No to Corruption; Commit to the Nation". Agarwal emphasized the importance of ethical conduct and integrity.

On the occasion, Pankaj Agarwal also released the "Cyber Hygiene Manual of PFC".

In the valedictory function of Vigilance Awareness Week-2023 prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions.
