Threats received in the past
It is not the first time that the actor has received such threat messages. Two years ago, he had received a threatening letter on a bench near his residence in Bandra. One year later, he had received an email allegedly sent by members of the gang.

Earlier this year in April, gunshots were fired outside his Bandra residence. Later, Navi Mumbai police filed an FIR in the firing incident.
