Pakistani intruder shot dead by BSF along border in Punjab

Amritsar: The Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a suspected Pakistani intruder along the international border in Punjab’s Amritsar. 
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred in the border area near Mahawa village on Sunday night. 

BSF spokesperson
"Alert BSF troops on duty observed suspicious movement of a Pakistani intruder, who surreptitiously crossed the international boundary and started approaching the border security fence taking advantage of the darkness," BSF spokesperson said.

On being challenged by the troops, the intruder did not stop and started running towards the security fence, the spokesperson added.    

"Noticing his aggressive move, the troops on duty fired upon him, killing him on the spot," BSF spokesperson concluded. (With Agency Inputs)
