Pakistan: Full Security to cricketers for PSL final
Johannesburg [South Africa] Cricket Board's (PCB) Executive Committee chairman Najam Sethi has assured that cricketers traveling to Lahore for Pakistan Super League (PSL) final to be held next month will be provided with 'foolproof security'.
Earlier, the PCB had confirmed that Lahore will host the final match of the second edition of the PSL on March 7 come what may.

Earlier, the PCB had confirmed that Lahore will host the final match of the second edition of the PSL on March 7 come what may.
Najam Sethi, the PSL chairman, briefed overseas PSL players in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a day before the Twenty20 league begins. It should be noted that except the league's final, all the matches would be played in UAE.
"The government has also made a huge investment in securing the city, and rest assured we will provide foolproof security to the players who will travel for the PSL final," Najam Sethi quoted as saying in a statement.
Najam Sethi further said that security consultants would travel to Dubai during the league "to allay the doubts and fears of the players" about security in Lahore.

Former captains Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja and Shoaib Malik were also present at the meeting and encouraged foreign players to play the PSL final in Lahore.
"We played a positive role in 1996 that was warmly welcomed in Sri Lanka," Akram said. "It is imperative that cricket returns to the country, Pakistan is are passionate about the game.”.
