Pakistan: 2 killed, over a dozen injured in Quetta blast

Islamabad: At least two people were lost their lives and 17 others received injuries after an explosion occurred near a police vehicle in Pakistan's Quetta, officials said.

The blast occurred in the Barech Market area on Quetta’s Double Road in Balochistan.

"The injured have been moved to the trauma centre at Civil Hospital," reported the Dawn, citing Balochistan’s health department spokesperson Dr Waseem Baig. 

According to the nation daily,  the condition of four wounded people is critical.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast.
