New Delhi: As her indefinite hunger strike, amid the water crisis in the city, enters third day today, Delhi Water Minister Atishi has alleged that the BJP-led Haryana government has shut barrage that supplies water to the Capital, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

“The Hathnikund barrage on Haryana has ample water but the Haryana government has shut the gates through which water is supplied to Delhi. The Haryana government has locked down the rightful share of Delhi’s water; my fast will continue till Delhi gets this water,” Atishi said in a video message posted on X.

"Delhi does not have its own water. All the water in Delhi comes from neighbouring states. The total water in Delhi is 1005 MGD. Out of which 613 MGD (million gallons per day) comes from Haryana but in the last 3 weeks, Haryana has reduced it. They are not giving water to Delhi," said Atishi in a video.

A day earlier, Atishi's blood sugar level dipped by 16 units while her blood pressure also fell.
