Shillong: NPP's Conrad Sangma takes oath as Meghalaya Chief Minister in Shillong. The oath was adminstered by Meghalaya Governor Ganga Prasad.

BJP President Amit Shah and Home Minster Rajnath Singh were present in the oath taking cermony.

Union Minister Rajnath Singh congratulate Conrad Sangma and said, "There was a perception that only Congress party can survive in the north-east but now that BJP has gained victory here that perception will change."

Along with Conrad Sangma various other Cabinet Minister took oath.
