As the countdown starts on New Year's Eve, several markets, restaurants, hotels and clubs in and around the National Capital are being beautifully decorated in various styles. It appears as if it’s about going all out, celebrating a new start in the most epic of ways.

On the other hand, Delhi traffic police, anticipating a massive rush of revellers on New Year's Eve, has made elaborate arrangements to check drunk driving and other traffic violations, reports Dynamite News correspondent:
A traffic police advisory listed CP, Lajpat Nagar, Hauz Khas, South Extension, Garden of Five Senses, Vasant Kunj, Civil Lines and Model Town among some areas where traffic will be regulated as many as with 250 police teams and 2,500 traffic cops on the New Year's Eve.

Connaught Place will be out of bounds and only residents or those with a valid party entry pass will be allowed. The restrictions will be there from 8pm till early next morning.
