Maheshpur: About 60 Indian devotees were injured after their bus overturned at Maheshpur-Rampurva in Nawalparasi district while returning home after taking a dip in Triveni Dham in Nepal on Saturday. They were evacuated to a private hospital for treatment.

The devotees had gone to Triveni Dham in Nepal to take a holy dip on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya of Magh month.

After taking a dip, while they were returning to India, their bus with Registration No. UP 16FT 7466 overturned in a deep pit at Maheshpur-Rampurva causing injuries to 60 devotees.

The police is further investigating the matter.
