Noida: The 17th National Youth Parliament Competition, 2025 (Group Level) was organized by DME Law School in collaboration with the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in the Seminar Hall of Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME) here in Noida on Monday, 24 March.
This Competition was hosted with the objectives of strengthening the roots of democracy by instilling healthy habits of discipline and tolerance and to enable the students to understand the working of our Parliament.
Chief Guest
Shankarbhai Vegad, former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Prof (Dr) Asad Malik, Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia was the Guest of Honour.

Prof (Dr) Rajat Ray, Dean of Students, Jadavpur University, was the Observer appointed by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. Preena Verma, Youth President, Rejoice Health Foundation was also present in the event.

'Parliament' Mini-Session
The full mini-session of 'Parliament' including oath-taking ceremony, Question Hour, debate on the Bill 'One Nation One Election' and host of other items was presented perfectly that left the audience spellbound.

The valedictory ceremony was held in the Nelson Mandela Auditorium.
The mementos were given to all dignitaries in recognition of their contributions.
While addressing the audience Chief Guest Shankarbhai Vegad motivated the youth to contribute their best towards shaping the Nation.

Prof (Dr) Ravikant Swami, Director, DME; Prof (Dr) Rajinder Kaur Randhawa, Head of the Department, DME Law School; Dr Farah Hayat, Youth Parliament Coordinator and Neha Sharma, Co-ordinator, NSS Cell.

The event concluded with the Award Ceremony.
Prof (Dr) Rajinder Kaur Randhawa extended the Vote of Thanks.
