National Herald Case: ED reaches Herald House again

New Delhi: Day after sealing the premises of Young India Ltd office located at Herald House here, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) teams on Thursday again reached the same premises for another round of search in an on-going investigation into the National Herald case, reports said.
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has slammed the ED action as an attempt to intimidate the party.
Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, was summoned by the ED when Parliament is in session. He, of course, left around 12:20pm and presented himself. This is Modishahi reaching new lows.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, tweeted and wrote: “Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, was summoned by ED when Parliament is in session. He, of course, left around 12.20 pm and presented himself. This is Modishahi reaching new lows.”

Kharge reached Herald House earlier and the ED raid is underway, sources said.
ED had conducted raids at multiple locations including Herald House on Tuesday before sealing the Young India office on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Congress workers including its women wing staged a protest outside Herald House against ED raid on National Herald newspaper office.
