New Delhi: As former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi went for day-2 questioning to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office, here on Tuesday, many top Party leaders again tried to march to the ED office.
However, they were stopped and detained by the police. Senior Party leaders including Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Jairam Ramesh, Mukul Wasnik, Digvijaya Singh, Meenakshi Natarajan, Deepender Hooda, P L Punia, K C Venugopal, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Gaurav Gogoi and Pawan Khera were detained.
Gandhi is being questioned in connection with a money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper.
Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi arrived at the Congress office on Tuesday morning and joined party leaders briefly before starting for the ED office.
On Monday also, Rahul Gandhi was questioned by the ED for around 10 hours.

The Congress has maintained there is no money laundering involved and has called the summons a politically motivated move. Reacting to police action against Congress workers, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehot said the "situation is not good in the country". He alleged that Congress leaders were not allowed to go to their own party office. Chidambaram accused the Central government of misusing the laws.
