New Delhi: After the Lok Sabha election results, the process of forming a new government started at a fast pace. Though the BJP on its own did not get the magic figure of 272 MPs, but their alliance NDA won 293 seats while INDIA bloc could get 232. It was therefore obvious from day one that BJP led NDA will form the new government.

Narendra Modi has been elected as the Parliamentary Leader of NDA in the meeting of all the NDA parties in the Central Hall of Parliament.
