New Delhi: The Maha Vikas Aghadi has completed the seat-sharing talks and Congress could contest over 100 seats in Maharashtra.
According to sources, out of Maharashtra's 288 assembly seats, Congress may secure the highest number. The Shiv Sena (UBT) is expected to get 90-95 seats, while Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) likely to contest 75-80 seats.

Cong could get between 105 & 115
The grand old party could get between 105 and 115, the sources added.
Recent reports suggested that INDIA alliance parties have been holding discussions to iron out the differences over the seat-sharing talks.

Some reports also claimed that Shiv Sena might exit the MVA alliance due to seat-sharing disputes, but Congress confirmed that Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress, and Sharad Pawar's NCP will contest the elections jointly.
Announcement to be made soon
According to the souces, the seat-sharing talks have been done and MVA would announce the seat-sharing formula soon.
The state will go to polls on November 20 in one phase while the results will be announced on November 23.
