Mumbai: 'The Benevolent Judge', a biography of Justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale, a strong signature of the Indian judiciary, was released in Mumbai on Sunday.

Several prominent judges of the country joined the release ceremony of the book.

Supreme Court Chief Justice Dr DY Chandrachud has especially written a message in the book. Justice Chandrachud in the message has said, “Justice Bhosale's work amidst the legal fraternity and the judiciary reflects his commitment to the legal landscape of the nation."

Supreme Court judge Justice Rajesh Bindal said in his message that Justice Bhosale is an old friend of mine. His long career has been impeccable and extremely brilliant.

Addressing the function, Supreme Court judge Justice Bhushan Gavai said that the qualities of Justice Bhosale like hard work, dedication, humanity, humility and his humanitarian approach set an example for the young lawyers of the country.

Justice Bhosale's daughter and Bombay High Court lawyer Neha Bhosale welcomed Supreme Court Judge Vikram Nath with a bouquet. On this occasion, Justice Vikram Nath said that Justice Bhosale is a 'hard task master', who works hard himself and expects similar hard work from others.

Many dignitaries connected with Judicial arena arrived at the program

Chief Justice of Bombay High Court Devendra Kumar Upadhyay said that this book is a collection of Justice Bhosale's experiences from which new and young professionals coming into the judicial field can learn a lot.

Justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale welcomed all the dignitaries present at the program and shared many interesting experiences of his long judicial journey.

Bombay High Court lawyer and son of Justice Bhosale Karan Bhosale, said that he has learnt the art of working hard honestly from his father. 

Kunal Vepa, who has scripted the book, along with Aditya Vaidya, Deepti Vora, Rajesh Chadda, who made special contribution for the publication, were honoured.

The program was conducted by Rajan Jayakar.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, various interesting aspects of the life of Justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale have been revealed in 'The Benevolent Judge'. The foreword to 'The Benevolent Judge' has been written by Justice Bhushan Gavai and Justice Vikram Nath.
