The routine does not have to be extensive but you can practice simple yoga asanas in the morning that can benefit your body in multiple ways such as stress reduction, good digestion, boosts concentration and much more.

1. Child pose

Balasana, or child posture, is a resting pose that softly relaxes the muscles in the front of the body while passively stretching the muscles in the back.

3. Downward-Facing Dog Pose (Adho Mukha Svanasana)

This pose is ideal for the morning because it just requires modest inversions. It helps to calm the brain, reset the neurological system, and energise the body.

Draw your navel in towards your spine and exhale while clasping your knees to your chest. Return to the beginning position when you take a breath.

5. Virabhadrasana
