Ministry of Information and Broadcasting constitutes committee to review Journalist Welfare Scheme

The Central Government has decided to review the Journalist Welfare Scheme (JWS). For this, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has constituted a 12-member committee. Full details on Dynamite News.

New Delhi: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has decided to review the Journalist Welfare Scheme (JWS).

For this, the Ministry of Information has constituted a 12-member committee. The committee will review the existing guidelines and make appropriate recommendations for the changes therein.

Prasar Bharati member Ashok Tandon has been appointed the Chairman of this committee. Pankaj Sisodia will be the convener. Kanchan Prasad has been made a member on behalf of PIB.

Among the journalists, Sachidanand Murthy, Shekhar Aiyer, Amitabh Sinha, Shishir Kumar Sinha, Ravindra Kumar, Hitesh Shankar, Smriti Kak, Amit Kumar, Vasudha Venugopal have been nominated as members.
