Agra: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday attacked the BJP, accusing it of engaging in electoral malpractice in the Milkipur byelection for which the result was announced on Saturday.
Reacting to the BJP's victory in the Milikipur bypoll, Akhilesh Yadav called the by-election a "loot" and stated, "People from the PDA (Backward Classes, Dalits, and Minorities) are witnessing the discrimination happening against them."
Akhilesh on Allegations of Fake Voting
According to a Dynamite News correspondent, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav once again targeted the BJP over allegations of fake voting. He said, "Even those who cast 6 votes, 2 votes should be respected in a democracy."

He further stated, "The INDIA alliance will become even stronger. We learn a lot from defeats. Learning from loss paves the way for the future." He also compared the Milkipur by-election to the Mahakumbh festival, saying, "Just like the Maha kumbh, the Milkipur by-election happens once every 144 years. Now you'll see such a by-election only after another 144 years."
Akhilesh Yadav on Maha Kumbh Stampede
Akhilesh Yadav also criticized the government over the stampede at the Maha kumbh, saying, "Those who are busy counting the crores of people bathing can't even report how many lives were lost or how many people are missing."
"I've often said this government makes films tax-free for their own entertainment. If they can do that, then people coming from all over the country to the Maha kumbh, traveling long distances, should be given toll tax exemptions," he added.

He further added that when the governemnt is organising a Kumbh Mela worth over ₹10,000 crores, waiving toll tax should not be a big deal for them.
