New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the transfer of 18 Indian Administrative Service officers, including retired ones. 

Tarun Kapoor has been appointed as Advisor to the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister Office (PMO) in the Secretary rank. Kapoor is a 1987 batch retired IAS officer of HP cadre.

Atish Chandra, a 1994 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

Devendra Kumar Singh has been appointed as Secretary General, National Human Rights Commission. Singh is a 1989 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre.
