Maoist IED blast kills minor girl in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Maoists allegedly triggered an IED blast on Tuesday in West Singhbhum district, killing a minor girl, according to Jharkhand police. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred at Jaraikela area in the district.

The IED blast occurred when the seven-year-old girl went to the forest to collect the firewood.

The girl accidentally stepped on the improvised explosive device (IED) “planted by CPI (Maoist),” the police added.
