On the basis of a complaint filed by the girl's uncle, a case was registered against the man for assault with the intent to outrage her modesty, Circle Officer Shivraj Singh said.

He was later arrested, the CO said.
Meanwhile the security in the area has been tightened and extra police personnel have been deployed to prevent any untoward incident. (PTI)
