Man arrested for blackmailing women using morphed photographs in Delhi

New Delhi: A man was held for allegedly morphing women's pitures and blackmailing them on internet, Delhi Police said on Saturday.

 According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accused has been identified as Madhav Singh, a resident of Amritsar.

He allegedly sought Rs 5 lakh from a woman, threatening that he would share the images on internet, if she did not pay the extortion money.

The girl alleged that she was contacted by a man through social media. Subsequentlly, the accused gained her trust and obtained her photographs and started blackmailing her, according to the police. 

The police is trying to find if he had any accomplices involved in the case.
