Mamta Kulkarni to continue as Kinnar Akhara 'Mahamandleshawar'

Prayagraj: Ex-actor Mamta Kulkarni has said she would continue as a Kinnar Akhara 'Mahamandleshawar' as her resignation from the post was rejected by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi.
She Resigned on Feb 10
She had resigned as the Mahamandelshwar of the Akhada on Feb 10. She was made a mahamandaleshwar on January 24 during a ceremony at the Maha Kumbh.

Kulkarni Posts Video on Instagram
"My resignation from the post of mahamandleshawar was not accepted," she said in a post on Instagram.
"Two days ago, some people made false allegations against my guru, Dr Acharya Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi. In response, I resigned in a moment of emotion. However, my guru did not accept my resignation. I am grateful that Acharya Laxmi Narayan Tripathi retained me. I dedicate my life to the Akhada and Sanatan Dharma," she added.
