Major reshuffle in UP bureaucracy as several IAS, PCS & IPS officers retire

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's bureaucracy is set for major changes soon. On Saturday, 31 January, 2025, a total of 19 officers, including three IAS officers, retired from service. Among them were nine PCS officers and several IPS officers.

IAS Dr. Anil Kumar Singh (2010 batch)
IAS Anand Kumar Singh (2009 batch)
IAS Devisharan Upadhyay (2012 batch) – Retired while under suspension!
Devisharan Upadhyay was associated with the Revenue Council during his suspension period. He faced allegations of arbitrarily restoring 35 land plots during his posting in Aligarh. The government had suspended him in July 2024.
