Mumbai: Battle lines have been drawn in Worli, following Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Milind Deora on Tuesday filing his nomination for this high-profile seat.

The former Union Minister has been pitted against sitting Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray.

Ex-Lok Sabha MP Milind Deora's name was announced by Shiv Sena just a day after Aditya Thackeray filed his nomination from the seat.

Currently, Mr Deora is a Rajya Sabha member and has represented South Mumbai Lok Sabha seat thrice.

'Will take Worli & Maharashtra forward'

Mr Deora said that he would work for the people and would take Worli and Maharashtra forward. He also exuded confidence that Eknath Shinde government would come back.
