Maharashtra polls: Ajit Pawar-led NCP releases list of 38 candidates

Mumbai: NCP (Ajit Pawar) on Wednesday released list of 38 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra polls.

NCP (AP) is fighting the polls in an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (Eknath Sinde).

Bhujbal & Walse Patil

The other heavyweight candidates are Chhagan Bhujbal (Yeola) and Dilip Walse Patil (Ambegaon).

Besides, Hiraman Khoskar has been fielded from Igatpuri while Shulbha Khodke from Amravati, both joined the NCP (Ajit Pawar) recently. 

The state will go to polls on November 20 in one phase for 288-member assembly. The outcome of the polls will be announced on November 23.
