Maharashtra Polls: 268 Sr citizens cast votes from home in Malabar Hill

Mumbai: As many as 278 voters, including 268 senior citizens and 10 disabled voters, in Malbar Hill Assembly Constituency here in Mumbai cast their votes from home, the election decision officer said in a media statement on Friday.
Special voting arrangements have been provided for senior citizens over the age of 85 and voters with disabilities in the Malabar Hill Assembly Constituency.

Facility for senior citizens/disabled
Senior citizens and disabled voters above 85 years of age who cannot be present at the polling station and who have filled out the form '12 D' have been provided the facility of voting by home postal ballot through the postal polling team.
Polling for the Vidhan Sabha general election will be held on November 20 followed by counting of votes on November 23. (with Agency inputs)
