Maharashtra Politics: With Kattappa-Bahubali poster, NCP student wing takes ‘gaddar’ jibe at Ajit Pawar

New Delhi: Amid a tussle in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), the workers of the party on Thursday removed old posters which had of Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel alongside Sharad Pawar from outside the office premises in New Delhi.

The scene from Baahubali was utilised by the Rashtrawadi Vidyarthi Congress to show Praful Patel as ‘Kattappa’, who stabbed Baahubali – in this case Sharad Pawar – in the back. The poster also had ‘gaddaar’ or traitor written in big, bold letters in Hindi.
Notably, NCP president Sharad Pawar is in Delhi on Thursday for a national executive meeting.
